Romper Days
I’ve always loved the look of jumpsuits and rompers. It’s one piece dressing, just like a dress, it’s on and it’s a whole look. You can dress them up or down, depending on where you take the look with your accessories. Even though I love the concept and look of them, I’ve been wary of rompers in the past. Shorts are a difficult item for me to wear. Chub-rub, the constant riding up and finding the right length...the struggle is very real. But in the spirit of dressing outside the box, I went for it when I found this romper.
It’s the print that really attracted me to this romper. I like that it’s a bold print, but because it has so much detail in it, it doesn’t appear too busy. I also love the drawstring waist, with the little metal ends and the black trim that grounds the print.

Since there is a lot of print going on in this look, I wanted to keep the rest of the look clean and simple. I wanted to compliment the blue in the print, so I paired it with a coral bag. I drew from the black and white as well for the shoes and necklace with a focus on gold accents.
